La Monita EmQuatier

The helix at emquartier challenges the designer to be creative with how to treat the unpredictable sloped ground of its spiralling structure. We define our ground plain as a seamlessly extend fluid-like ground from the original slope given. Our first priority is to design a continuous walking experience to this gorgeous restaurant.

We create several light-floors to accommodate only essential flat ground such as main dining area. The large free-form furniture is a reflection of chaotic slope giving by the mall. The sculpture significance was emphasized by our selection of raw and minimal set of materials.
